The B6 protected FORD RANGER addresses the ever-growing need of numerous internal security stakeholders for lightweight armoured vehicles to carry out their missions. Developed in partnership with Ford, this armoured vehicle offers its users a range of decisive operational advantages for patrol, security, and surveillance missions:

Double-cab cell armour rated FB6 (opaque areas) and BR6 (glazing), which protects occupants against the most common handgun and assault rifle ammunition,
A civilian exterior appearance, similar to the original vehicle, allowing users to carry out their missions discreetly under armour,
A robust pickup platform with a high payload capacity, notably thanks to the cargo bed,
A vehicle that can be driven with a standard driving licence (category B), due to a total weight of less than 3.5 tonnes,
An affordable armoured vehicle, easy to maintain (authorised Ford dealerships), with short delivery times.

Balistic protection

Against kinetic projectiles:

B6 armoured cell on five sides (windshield, side doors, floor, roof, and rear face), opaque areas (FB6 NS level according to NF EN 1522/1523) and transparent areas (BR6 NS level according to NF EN 1063).

Against explosives:

Ballistic floor mats, Kevlar floor to protect against simultaneous detonation of 2 DM-51 grenades under the armoured cell, etc.

Optional:

Anti-intrusion film for external windows, armoured cargo bed.
